1.

Promote products and services of NLN:
a. Nursing Education Standards
b. Faculty Development Programs
c. Nursing Education Research
d. Nursing Supply Data
e. Assessment & Evaluation Tests

2.

Participate in the securing of funds at the local/state level to promote
faculty development and quality nursing education in California.


3.

Serve as a monitor for public policy issues related to education of nurses in California.

4.

Identify, recruit, engage, and develop members for CLN and NLN leadership work groups and task forces.

5.

Develop alliances in California to advance quality nursing education.

6.

Serve as a channel of communication between NLN and CLN members, and members to members.


Identify the nursing needs of California citizens and to foster
programs designed to meet these needs.

Work with voluntary, governmental, and other agencies, groups, and
organizations for the advancement of nursing toward the achievement of
comprehensive health care for Californians.

Assist the National League for Nursing to meet the national need for
nursing service and education.

Cooperate in national and regional efforts to support action designed
to meet the appraised needs.

Work with groups in the community that are concerned with nursing
service, nursing education, nursing, and health manpower needs.
